I bought this as an upgrade to the AT120E and what a difference! The Nude square Micro-Linear stylus is superior to the Nude Elliptical as it closer to the way the LP was originally cut. It's much quieter and after using the HI-FI NEWS - TEST LP PRODUCER'S CUT to align it I hear everything I didn't before. You won't be disappointed and they have the best price for it. |

Love this cartridge. Had the older AT440ML years ago, but this one is better. As you use it the trebles will get more moderate and you will have a well balanced sound. It also tracks the hardest passages well. Other cartridges would skip where this one plays. I forgot how good a cartridge could be. |

Some people talk about 'lifting the veil' to me changing to the 440 sounded more like 'lifting a horse blanket'
My only criticism, it's very bright, is Vinyl warm tho because the set up may lack detail? Does adding detail in spades make it sound bright? If that's the case, adding in everything that the artist produced, bright really means accurate. The 440 sure is accurate because there is detail by the ton. Overly bright may be the result of poor mastering and not the 440s fault. |

Price was one of the big factors
in buying this cartridge.Turntable
needles.com has the lowest price of
anyone.I was expecting this cartridge
to sound better then my AT 132E but not THAT much better.I can hear things
like voices clearer then ever before.I
have it on the Denon 300 table.
Would I recomend this cartridge? With

Bought this as an upgrade to My Thorens TD318 with standard arm. Super impresed at the results. Clarity and detail are markedly improved and I have really enjoyed the sound. As a Thorens upgrade I can only recommend it. |

I replaced the cartridge on my Rega Planar III turntable with the AT440MLa and after careful set up & alignment etc I played a few of my favourite albums.
The AT440MLa provides amazing audio clarity. This cartridge absolutely proves that vinyl is far superior than any cd. |

I recently bought Audio Technica
440MLa.I installed it on my dual 505-2 very easy.I must say that the sound is amazing much better than i expected.I don t have to get into techical details just trust me the sound is great.The Audio Technica 440MLa is a great cartridge and the price is very good.I m very satisfied with my purchase. |
