You will receive thee Genuine Shure VN5xMR, brand new in the factory box.

Now in stock!!. Extremely limited quantities. This is thee coveted genuine Shure VN5xMR for the discontinued V15VxMR cartridge. This stylus is designed for the V15VxMR and can also be a massive upgrade for the M97xE cartridge. Note however that the M97xE body is not quite the same as the V15VxMR body so this will not upgrade the M97xE to the exact same level as the V15VxMR cartridge. It will however be a very significant improvement. The suspension bushing has been tested/passed in 2007. Styli are stored around 68-78 degrees F.

We presume that if you are on this page that you are aware that Shure has discontinued this stylus and the cartridge. We found these in an overseas warehouse & imported them back to the USA. Time and currency exchange rates forced us to pay thru the nose for them but we wanted to be able to offer this amazing sounding stylus. Shure had to discontinue this needle, due to extreme difficulties manufacturing the cantilever.

• "DMR" = Diamond Micro Ridge tip needle for use at 16, 33 or 45 speeds. NOT for 78 rpm speed.
• 1.0 grams tracking pressure.
• SHURE NEEDLES VN5xMR
• SHURE CARTRIDGES V15VxMR will also fit the M97xE
• Original needle color is: MAROON guard/BLACK body
top secret crosses: Can also fit the V15-Pro-S, VST-III, and the Radio Shack V15-RS

• NOTE: Because this needle is designed for use specifically with SHURE cartridges, it can be found in numerous brands of turntables. In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was also likely to have been selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the SHURE cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.
