78RPM Stylus for Entire Pickering V15 Series

>> Used In: Any Pickering cartridge that uses our 604 or 605 needles. Also can replace the "820" body style shown below when 78rpm functionality is required.
>> NOTE: Because this needle is designed for use specifically with Pickering cartridges, it can be found in numerous brands of turntables. In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was more likely selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.

Shipment arrived in time and in good condition. Unfortunately the needle does not have the 78 marking on it!

78 rpm Pickering stylus
This stylus works great on my ancient KLH model 11 with a Garrard turntable. It let me play a number of my dad's old 78s and digitize them.

Great 78 needle
This is a perfect replacement for my original needle, and the 78's sound great! At least as great as extremely old and very scratched 78's could possibly sound. :)

Nice for 78 tracking
This needle doesn't need the 78 embossed logo on it unless they send you a black one for some reason. These are color coded that is the reason it is suppose to be dark blue (which mine is). Finding a mint 78 record to really hear its quality is what you will really need to do before you comment on it here sound-wise, I have a few, and at 3.75 grams and perfect alignment it plays and tracks wonderfully although around 4.25 is an optional setting for your maximum played 78's. Switching to mono on your amp if it is stereo will give you a nice quiet blend and listening experience. It has a 3 mil tip instead of the traditional 2 mil but for 78 rpm it's not too noticeably off. Also want to add it was shipped very quickly and received it just as expected. I will definitely order from here in the future. Very professional and pleasant transaction and a good price for a semi hard to find stylus in it's original color to boot.
