Found deep in the archives of England, we recovered this European workhorse and have brought it to you. Let's be clear, this is what we consider to be an entry level cartridge, but it has some nice perks. Which include:
Gold plated contacts
Clearly color coded and labelled contacts for confusion free wiring.
A 'booster' magnet for a respectable 5mV (millivolt) output level.
Also, it has a .6mil conical(spherical) tip. This is a rareity. Most entry level needles run a .7mil tip. By running this slightly smaller tip in the groove of your used records, it will ride just a little deeper and likely be hitting some 'fresh' vinyl. Allthough it does depend on the history of your collection, This should allow, in some cases, for you to capture just a little bit more musical info. It's not as dramatic as a nice elliptical needle but it's a nice free bonus for an entry level setup. It comes with a couple screws and a snap-on protective cover. Finally, we want to move these and we don't want you to worry about replacement needles so we are throwing in an extra backup needle, for a total of two needles, counting the one mounted. This will give you about 800-1600 hours of play time.
