You are purchasing the rubber tire 'ring' that surrounds your existing plastic wheel. We will install it for you when you mail us the old plastic center piece. The original replacement part from sanyo is long since obsolete. This is a recently manufactured 'idler tire' for VCR's that we have found can be adapted to replace the rubber on the following part numbers:

CAUTION: Purchase of this product means that IF, you send us a plastic wheel that is all gummy/gooy from the old rubber tire having a chemical reaction with grease or oil or something, then you agree to a $10 surcharge($33.95 total) added to your account for the extra yucky job of cleaning out all the goo. We instead prefer that you send us a clean plastic wheel. If your rubber tire has become gooy, use rubbing alcohol and a bunch of Qtips to clean out the track of goo.
IMPORTANT: Before you buy this part, please be advised that it fits very very tightly into the plastic center wheel. You must purchase the part, and send us the plastic wheel for professional installation. Once you have completed your order, we will put your order in pending status, waiting for you to send us your old white plastic wheel. Make sure to mail us the center wheel in a PADDED envelope, NOT just a regular letter envelope, else the machinery at the post office just may rip that wheel right out of a thin envelope.

When you receive back the completed product, please clean all surfaces that the new rubber might touch with rubbing alcohol so as not to contaminate the new rubber.
