The economical Ortofon Sylus Tracking Force Gauge is an accurate factory calibrated and tested fulcrum that is designed for measuring stylus [needle] tracking forces from 1.0 to 2.5 grams. Thorens, a highly respected brand it's designed for any modern turntable, it is not intended for older, high tracking force players.

Simply rest the needle in the guide track at the desired tracking force marking. If the gauge is not balanced, lift the tonearm, adjust the counter weight, lower the tone arm and try again.
