Tonars Anti-Static Brush is a good quality made unit. However, installation instructions are poor at best - I have had the unit for a month and a half now and I’m still trying to find the best base location for complete album tracking by the brush. Also, getting the unit located so it will track at the same speed as the needle is a challenge without proper installation instructions.

Handsome and well manufactured, includes a grounding wire, not shown. Collects considerably less dust than the ungrounded, plastic Watts Dust Bug of yore. Brush only contacts disc when sliding weight is as close as possible to the brush. In sum, won't hurt but may not help much.

It does a decent job picking up dust from the record. The instructions say to affix it to a spot where the brush reaches the spindle using the two-sided tape provided. However, I find that I need to move it around when I play different records as it sometimes tracks faster or slower, depending on the disc. Also, it claims to discharge static but I doubt the effectiveness of this feature. It's not perfect, but it's probably the best of this type of device out there.

if you own a direct drive servo-moter turntable, you must have one of these!!! i am very pleased that after years of searching, it is now a reality.did i mention VERY pleased?

Been looking for a dust/static brush like the stablizer on Shure's M97xE. Not made except for V15 M97xE. so this standalone brush-arm is the next best thing. The calibration for spin-rate is not as big a deal as some make it. Well made, durable and well designed!

The arm does what it should do. Placing is critical and the loose weight is too loose on the arm.

I use this constantly! I am often surprised at how much dust it collects even after cleaning LP before playing AND using a Shure V15 with the brush down. A little tricky to handle; but I won't subtract a star because of the great performance.

I was really amazed! I immediately noticed a significant reduction in static-caused pops and clicks. Quiet passages of the music were, well, quiet! This includes the breaks between tracks. I had hoped this would make some difference; maybe even enough to postpone buying the "anti-static gun" for a while, but now I've put the gun purchase on indefinite hold. Does this cleaning arm eliminate ALL static? I would say no, but the difference is so significant that, for the price, I can live with just this accessory for quite a while. Now, to everyone's complaint about it being difficult to get the arm to track and follow the stylus on the record. Maybe it's just me, but I had it tracking correctly by the time I got to the second side of the first record I played. Yes, it is finicky, but my suggestion is that once you think you have the sliding weight correctly placed, adjust it in VERY slight increments to get the desired results. A very slight movement of that weight makes a significant difference in the tracking speed. Remember that moving the weight further away from the pivot makes the arm track faster, and the ideal is to have the brush tracking directly in line with the stylus. The other thing to remember is that you MUST connect the wire from the arm to Earth ground. If your amp/receiver is connected to an Earth ground (as in ground rod/copper water pipe, which of course, it should be!),then just tie the arm wire to the ground screw on your component. I have a dedicated stereo component ground wire going directly from my amp to a ground rod. For the price of this accessory, I can't recommend it strongly enough! VERY pleased with delivery time as well.

It does as advertised, removes a records static charge to ground. No need for an anti static gun, has a carbon fiber brush that sort of cleans as it allows the static electricity a way to ground. Some tome spent adjusting the place to mount it and some time spent adjusting it's traveling rate across the record will reap large benefits.

Just what I wanted. Keeps the static pops from being a distraction. It seems to work very well on my Rotel RP-5300 and Pioneer PL-12D turntables. It is worth taking the time to setup and use for each LP played.

Easily the best $$ spent for any Turntable. I haven’t had to clean my needle since I have put this on my PL-518 Pioneer.

It's a great record cleaning tonearm. It is much cheaper than the one from Pro-Ject.

Absolutely amazing!!! Discharged static and cleans perfectly every time... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!?????? The only cauvet I have is that there should be set/lock screws on the weight and counterweight.

Bought for Chris and Chelsea, They live in NM where the air is super dry(10%). They love it and commented that it reduced the pops they normally got from the static build up on their records. Why buy a Zerostat!
