I haven't had a new needle for my turntable in over 10 years. After installing it, I took some time and experimented with 60 year old albums to the present. This is a terrific elliptical replacement stylus for a Stanton 500, etc. It tracks well at just 1.25 grams and up and sounds terrific, giving modern cartridges a run for their money. Good replacements are hard to find, and I tried to save money by buying a cheaper stylus elsewhere, which ended up being just a waste of money. You won't be disappointed in this one.

Was received in the exact number of days I was told it would arrive. It sounds terrific, no problem installing the needle, and am completely happy with the sound. I have a big collection of records which are rather old and can enjoy listening to them again. New stylus for an older turntable. Makes the vinyl sound great.

Bought this to replace the original stylus on a Stanton 500EE. I could not be more pleased. This is the best aftermarket value around. Stop reading and purchase. Your Stanton 500 is a GREAT cart. Hard to find anyone saying otherwise. Stop using that worn out stylus. You are ruining your records. This thing kills on Hard Rock, Metal. Bass for days and amazing detail. Best $$ you can spend to elevate your set up.

D5100EE Type Stylus is working very well in my Stanton Cartridge.

I'm very impressed with the sound of this stylus. I installed it to replace a broken stylus on an old Stanton 500, so I had no opportunity to A/B the old vs. new. However, comparing it to an Ortofon Concorde, the sound was very similar. Great value!

I've realized that I don't hear much difference between record player needles, I guess there are some subtle differences, but anyways this has been a good stylus so far.
