DM-322 etc. Type Needle for Elac by BLISS™

You will receive an aftermarket reproduction that has been prepared with a new elliptical diamond tip. Yes this needle is soo rare we do need your old needle assembly so we can install a new elliptical tip and suspension as needed for the next Elac lover. The tooling to go back into new production would be too expensive for this needle so this is the only way.

Fits these variable reluctance Elac cartridges:

ELAC STS-200 which tracked at 4 - 6 grams tracking pressure.
ELAC STS-210 which tracked at 4 - 6 grams tracking pressure.
ELAC STS-220 which tracked at 4 - 6 grams tracking pressure.
ELAC STS-222 which tracked at 2.5 - 4.5 grams tracking pressure.
ELAC STS-240 which tracked at 2.5 - 4.5 grams tracking pressure.
ELAC STS-310

ELAC STS-322 which tracked at 1.5 - 3 grams tracking pressure.

However, the lighter tracking pressure of our 331-D7 needle may potentially cause issues if adapted for setups expecting higher tracking forces. Such as setup with a high mass tonearm or in a changer mechanism. We welcome your feedback regarding how the upgrade went.

DM-322 type Stylus

I am using this replacement stylus in an Elac STS-222 cartridge on a Miracord 40H. Tracking is set at 2.85 grams, which is inside the limits of both the stylus and the cartridge. Under the microscope, it is perfect-- just a clean cone, and sounds as good as my actual 222's stylus. I also compared it to a NOS Pfansteil, and the workmanship is pretty much identical. This is an excellent price for a stylus for these cartridges, and the fact that the rubber is new and pliable is a massive bonus!

Nice

Recently purchased this as a replacement for a STS-322. I had another replacement stylus from another supply and it was terrible. It was new but the simbilence was unbearable. Bought this, had it quickly install and the difference was night and day. I feel like I can run this Elac another 5 years without worry. Ordered another once I heard the first purchase broke in.
