NOTE: Because this needle is designed for use specifically with Ortofon cartridges, it can be found in numerous brands of turntables. In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was more likely selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.

ORTOFON NEEDLES DN160E

CAUTION: The internal plastic structure is "keyed" on the top as viewed from the square opening at the back of the plastic housing (knob). It is "keyed" in such a way that there must be an indent on the top of metal housing of the cartridge that slides into the plastic knob of this needle assembly. This probably means it will ONLY fit on the TKS60E & ULM60E cartridges.

The DN160E has a high compliance of 30 and so is suited for Ultra Low Mass tonearms as found in the DUAL 714Q & DUAL 731Q turntables.
10 and below - low compliance (less flexible)
11 to 19 - moderate compliance
20 and higher - high compliance (more flexible)

Dual DN-160E

I have purchased more than 1 of the BLISS Dual replacement stylus and I am always very happy on the sound reproduction of these very smooth and no fatigue I can listen for hours Thanks Guys as always a great product at a very good price you just can't go wrong
