This belt is of recent manufacture. Original belts no longer exist. If they did, they'd be too old to sell in good conscience. As far as we can tell, even if the manufacturer name was stamped on the belt, all belts supplied with original turntables were outsourced to a belt specialist manufacturer, like ours are today. Our belts are made using state-of-the-art vulcanization chemistry, forming highly crosslinked polymetric structures which ensure long-term elastic stability even under the harshest conditions.

Prior to installation of your new belt, the belt path should be cleaned. Here in the repair shop we would use common household rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) or a similar solution to clean the old, (often invisible) belt residue from the entire belt path, including the 'lip' or ridge around the underside of the platter,so it doesn't contaminate the new belt. With the belt off, we would get the turntable into play condition and hold an alcohol soaked Q-tip on the side of the spinning belt motor pulley. It's amazing how much black contamination comes off from the old belt. See our

I ordered this small 9.0 Inch flat belt as a replacement for my 1987 Roland S-10 Sampling Keyboard using the 2.8 QD Drive. Getting parts for these a really difficult. The factory belts are made of some stuff that turns into a nasty black paste over time and this replacement belt is a lot better constructed, It's more elastic, more rubber in it's construction and less "plastic" than the original. This belt is more like turntable belts of years past. those things would last forever.

Airstream 8 Track Player

Yamaha KX-930 cassette

I ordered 2 belts to replace in my cassette deck - FSB 9.0 and SBO 2.5 - replaced both in the deck and am VERY happy with results! Small belt required replacement while original large one was stretched and would need replacing a bit later too. New belts were perfect fit and seemed to be of good quality. Thank you guys!!

Great service and product

I was very pleased with the service and the belts I received. I have a Pioneer CT-W900R dual head tape deck that was lightly used when new and sat unused for at least 10 years. When I finally tried to use it, I was not surprised the belts were shot, but I didn't want to invest much to get it running. I found the TurntableNeedles site, with good info, good selections, good prices and the option for USPS mail for those of us not in a hurry. I gave it a try and was very pleased. Perfect Fit

I had ordered belts for my Sony TC-K61 and TC-K65 from the bay and one other site.. Well they were wrong, as they were to tight and that will mess up the deck on play back...and also cause noise from these sony's.. So after measuring the best i could and then looking them up on here i see these were more the correct size.. AND yes they were perfect length for my 2 decks..
