I was extremely happy with my Nagaoka MP-150 on my Rega P3. The details in the high end and the bass extension were the two most favored qualities. As the MP-150 wore out I needed to decide on how to get the most bang for my buck, and I saw a review of the MP-200 on YouTube that gave me the idea of getting the JN-P200 stylus as an upgrade for the 150. The 150 and 200 are very similar in their build, so you get the maximum out of the new stylus. This is not true for the 300 or 500 styli, as they have a different design, even though they are compatible. I immediately noticed even more high frequency extension, with more space between instruments and better separation overall. It sounds a lot like the 150, but just does everything a little bit better. There is more body to voices, more presence; bass is more refined and kick drums more powerful; the highs are oh so sweet and carry loads of energy and spatial information that wasn't there before, and so on. I'm very happy with the upgrade! I highly recommend it to anyone that has worn out a 150 as an upgrade, or just to replace the stylus on their MP-200.
