Heavy duty cartridge alignment and strobe disc

This is a heavy duty physical strobe disc and protractor tool that will be mailed to you. It's made of glossy white acrylic. Includes record jacket and sleeve. Does not include instructions. About the same size and weight but more rigid than a vinyl record.

Mounts on center spindle.
Start player.
Pattern appears motionless *if* player reaches desired speed under 50 or 60hz standard incandescent lighting. Probably won't work very well under CFL lighting but please let us know if it does. We have a customer report that Christmas LED lights work very well. (presumably the white variety) Also there are now strobe apps available for smart phones that simulate incandescent lighting flickering rate of 50 or 60hz.

Alignment:

Baerwald cartridge alignment setup. Most popular, best sound overall from beginning to end of record. May not align well on some Japanese straight arm turntables designed for Stevenson alignment.
Adjust cartridge in headshell slots so the diamond can touch the outter and inner target markings. See youtube for cartridge alignment videos. Research if Baewald is best for you.
