In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was also likely to have been selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the SHURE cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.

I received the product as promised and in good condition, although I haven't used it yet. It is a replacement for a worn needle, and will be used when I play records for which it is designed, which isn't that often these days.

Good for my old BSR.

My BSR Mcdonald 310 is not in good shape- the cartridge is all loose and the wires are poorly contacting the leads. That said, the needle fits perfectly and is easy to attach/remove. It's also a pretty durable stylus, as I have accidentally hit it (head on) with my finger, and did not notice any degradation in sound quality afterwards!

Exact fit for Sears Lxi

Replaced original stylus at least 40 years old. Exact fit and helped in the restoration.

Saved my old Yamaha

I purchased another needle from a different vendor and it wasnt even close to working. I was able to find the exact needle i need and it installed and worked without isse. It is high quality. Will buy from again.

Stylus

Delivery took longer than I expected, which I'll attribute to weather and covid. The packing was great. My only dissapointment was that the original stylus on my player also played 78 rpm's. There are only a couple, but I liked them.
