NOTE: Because this needle is designed for use specifically with SHURE cartridges, it can be found in numerous brands of turntables. In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was also likely to have been selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the SHURE cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.

N75EJ as replacement for Shure M75EJ

I have an old turntable, from the 70's. It has set idle for almost 3 decades and I finally decided to play my vinyl records. Needless to say I had to do some restoration and cleaning. The biggest issue was finding the right stylus. I found 'turntableneedles' and what I was looking for. The delivery time for the product was excellent and the performance of the stylus is outstanding. Now I'm enjoy some of the real sounds of the oldies.

works great, sounds great

I use this stylus on my Shure M93E cartridge and it fits perfectly and sounds wonderful straight out of the box. Still breaking it in and it's getting even better. Item arrived on time and exactly as described.

Thanks for keeping this in stock. My early '80s turntable is sounding great. If you know where I can find a replacement cover, please let me know. This table sat dormant for 30 years at my parents' house so it's getting the TLC it deserves.

Needle for Shure M75EJ

First I want to commend Turntable Needles on the excellent customer service. For some unknown reason the shipping was cancelled. Hoping it was a bad message, I waited a couple of weeks and no needle. Call in and they shipped another needle right away. It arrived in great shape. Now the player.... I built the stereo, Heathkit AD-27A when I was in high school 51 years ago. I installed the new needle, plugged in my speakers, powered up the stereo. No smoke!!! Next put on some Woodstock albums and sat back. Wow, the sound was great. It's really calming to slow down and not be able to pick up the phone to pause or skip a track. I can almost sense a sweet smell in the air. Very happy consumer.

Good Replacement Stylus

Got this as a replacement stylus for a Realistic R700E cartridge, which is a rebranded Shure N75 Type 2. Works perfectly to make this the equivalent of an N75EJ Type 2. I have found that a stylus with a little lower compliance and heavier tracking weight work better in older changers - in this case and ELAC Miracord Model 46. Sound is excellent. At first I thought bass was a little thin for a Shure but after a few hours of use it now sounds just as it should.

N75EJ Type Needle for Shure M75EJ - your Stylus 760-DEJ. It is so reassuring to receive your excellent stylus for my sure cartridge. I had been trying to play my records with a well bent and abused needle with grim results. Now, with your replacement, all is pure joy. The package was nearly lost as I found my dog about to attack it on the door mat. However, his attention was happily diverted. You also sent me a belt for my B & O turntable costing about a tenth of other supliers. Thanks
