Brillant sound with good definition and separation between low and hight frequency signals. A flat sound for the whole audible frequency range.

I have 2 NOS styli for the Realistic RXT-4; this is the same as the Shure M97 Era IV cartridge. After listening to the NOS Shure styli, I mounted the Bliss stylus to make a comparison. The Bliss and the NOS styli are elliptical for this cartridge. I played the styli with the brush down and up. Honestly, I could hear no difference between the NOS factory equipped stylus and the Bliss! That’s a HIGH compliment from me, as I’m very picky, and my system is very revealing. On a warped record, the NOS viscous damped brush did an outstanding job of making the record playable. The Bliss was equal in that respect also! Rarely are aftermarket styli the exact equal performers to NOS styli. I can say these Bliss styli ARE equal! An outstanding value! The bass has the same slam, the mids float effortlessly, and all the treble is there—it doesn’t disappear as is so often the case with aftermarket styli!! I’m shocked! Glad I bought one while available!

I bought this stylus for a M97 cartridge and have been perfectly happy. Product seems faithful to the original. Will be happy to order another one in the future.

In use with either a Technics SL-1210 Mk5 or Technics SL-1800 Mk2, this stylus yields a full spacious sound, bringing out the details in a recording.

My father gave me his old Marantz turntable from probably 30+ years ago. The needle was broken so I found this product. It is the more expensive versiion but I think it’s worth the money. Plugged it in and the turntable sounds wonderful. The team at turntable needles had great support as they advised me on my options and when I ordered the wrong bottle by accident, handled the return and replacement very efficiently.
