The Little Green Mahine
The Nude Bi-Radial tip and tapered Alloy Cantilever provide outstanding tracing and tracking performance. This cart offers the tracing and tracking of the MP-200, but without the warmer/darker sound of the Boron Cantilever. Cart sounds great with acoustic music and does a good job of getting the LED out, something the MP-200 is not as good at. Great match for the DENON DP-300F!

Good as the hype
Deep, clean, impactful bass; you can imagine the bass strings being plucked. The highs are extended and smooth; no edginess or excess brightness. The mids are well balanced, not forward or back in the mix. Sorry Shelter 201. You can't touch this.

Very Nice Cart
Fitted this cartridge to an RB100 arm on a Rega P1 and the cartridge sounds amazing. Clean, crisp sounds with plenty of detail and ample bass. The most noticeable thing for me was a much better bass presentation. Excellent cartridge and highly recommended.

Nagaoka MP150
I am a little taken aback by how the MP150 combines resolution of fine detail, soundstage, musicality, and bass definition and power in such an exquisite way! I've heard many cartridges at many times its price, but none of them are at this level. I used it with a Rega P3 (2016 model) and a Creek 4140se amp with standard phono stage, and I can scarcely believe what I'm getting for 300 dollars. It's kind of ridiculous, actually. Have fun folks, this is the bargain of the century. My Rega Exact cartridge sounds flat, dull, and harsh by comparison, at twice the price.

Great all-round performer
I'd be hard pressed to even think of an $300 cartridge that outperforms the Nagaoka MP-150 either in tracking or in sound. It simply does not draw any attention to itself, allowing the music to emerge with sharp focus, wide stereo separation, stable imaging, low tracking distortion, and near-perfect truth of timbre, leaning slightly toward yin.

Value of the century !
Wow ! Break it in for 40 hours and hold on. I can’t believe this only cost $350. Bass is tuneful, solid and deep. Mids are liquid but also revealing. Treble is smooth but also revealing. No sibilants anywhere. The music is presented in a holistic way. I wonder what the top of the line MP-500 has to offer ?! Highly recommended.
