Pioneer JP-518 Type Headshell

June 2020 update: The original Pioneer supply is now completely gone for a couple years now. We are in the early stages of planning to bring this item back into production under the BLISS™ brand so jump on the waiting list and we hope to have this available late 2020 sometime.

OEM Pioneer headshell found in many Pioneer turntables. NOW shipping a genuine Pioneer JP-518 headshell (coquille). Includes 4 insulated lead wires. We have verified that the JP-518 (aka PXB-564) and the JP-513 (aka PXA-882) are 100% interchangeable. The only difference is slightly cosmetic.

ID is 8.95mm/.351"

The 4 pin pattern inside the socket is 'trapazoidal' not in a square pattern (as if you were connecting the dots so to speak.)

Found in:

PIONEER PL-4, PL-S40, PL-S50, PL-S70, PL-505, PL-730, PL-590, PL-950 and many other Pioneer straight tonearms.

PL-707 uses JP-518 (Pioneer PXB-564)

Works perfectly. It's an OEM headshell - I can't say that it has changed anything other than it replaced a missing piece to restore the magic to a Pioneer PL-707 table.

Pioneer Headshell

Genuine Pioneer part. A bit pricey. Chinese knockoffs a fraction of the price. Canadian import duties and service charge almost doubled the cost to get it into Canada.
