The Turntable Needles staff directed me to this stylus after requesting a little advice on options upgrading my existing stylus model, which was really helpful. Right away I could hear a difference in sound quality after replacing my (overdue) stylus with this hyperelliptical upgrade. Pops and surface noise seem to come out a little louder, too. It makes sense but it is a little bit discouraging. I imagine that this will ease off as the stylus breaks in. A quick wash with brush/solution seems to help quite a bit. I plan recheck the tracking as well. (It's been a while.) Overall, I am quite pleased with this stylus. Shipping was super fast, by the way.
