I bought a (used, ancient) turntable advertised as in good working order. When I got it, there was a note saying that the unit had been tested with an "in-house belt and needle" as both were missing or broken. Not knowing a lot about electronics, I was in a bit of a panic, but with some more on-line research I found a belt that looked like would work, but the needle? ….didn't really know where to start. First I had to figure out did I need a cartridge, a stylus or just a needle. The information along with TERRIFIC photographs at Turntable Needles.com were just what I needed to figure it all out.
