Works great

I don't know the sound of original stylus, but this one sounds very well for the price tag.

The replacement stylus easily fit into the existing Empire 500ID cartridge. The stylus sounds good and is a good value for the cost. It tracks well on older records but it is a bit noisy. Pops and clicks are fairly loud. The stylus needle is really small and will likely need replacing more frequently than better cartridges. It comes with no documentation and the packaging could be a bit better.
