Needle 239-DEC

It is nice to be able to replace a destroyed stylus. I put it in and it works well. I can't attest to longevity since it is recent and I don't use the turntable very frequently. On the other hand, it is great for vinyl to do more than occupy space in a box.

Another truly great stylus!

I bought this stylus for my 2000X Empire cartridge. After spending $100 on a counterfeit Empire S2000X Stylus from LP Gear, and an S917E Stylus also from LP Gear, the sound was bad, resonated badly on piano and horns, and fit loosely! Total waste of money! Bought this 239-DEC for it and got it today! What a NICE stylus!! So crystal clear and balanced, no resonance, and tracks beautifully at 1.25 grams! Tight bass, very sweet and extended treble, detailed mids! A truly great stylus—Again!

This works wonderfully on the Empire 2000E III . It is red though but who cares , and no flip down guard. I think I like this one better than the $100 one I was using
