Mounted on my SC 35 which is in a Paradox Pluse metal body. Outstanding performance. Retains the low impact of the conical stylus while giving more clarity to the upper end. No brained buy.

This stylus is is well made: it fits snugly into the cartridge body; has a tension wire; and looks cool as hell. While its sound is pleasing, it is different from the .6 or ,.7 conical of the SC35c, which you may or may not like. The elliptical does provide more detail and tracks better, but I it doesn't sound like a SC35c anymore IMO. In some ways it reminds me of the Shure 91ed. But it's awesome to have the option with a quick swap, so every SC35c owner should get one.

A very good needle, with it the SC35 retains everything that makes this phono cartridge good but increases it in detail. A true upgrade.

This needle is a significant upgrade to the original one. High end is definitely improved.

Again, a great sounding stylus for a low price (comparatively). I don't know how it compares to a stock SS35C (elliptical stylus for the SC35C) but compared to my other needles, it sounds VERY good. Quick shipping, great fit.

This needle fits my Technics Quartz Direct Drive turntable. The tonearm was sliding to the center. The new stylus fixed it. Yay!

This stylus works exactly as it should, restoring my old SC35C cartridge to the detailed sound I'd expect.

I bought this needle to replace my old conical stylus. I wanted to try an elliptical model to see what sort of difference there was. The biggest difference I've noticed is that it sounds great, but the vinyl needs to be super clean or it's going to skip. I by a lot of old grungy records, and they are never in the best condition. I've heard this needle skip more than my old one ever did, just in the short time I've used it. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, it's just the way it's designed to play. Sounds great on clean vinyl though, great frequency response! I'm going to probably order a conical needle to play the older, scratchy records though.
