After a lot of researcher, I took a chance on VM540ML. The best decision I’ve made for my turntable. Upgrading from a Shure M44-7, this brought on a completely different, better listening experience. Channel separation, and detail extraction , overall sound quality improved immediately. Incredible high end detail, and plenty of bass. Some people talk about ‘brightness’ for this cart, but to me it’s all about high end detail, and midrange texture. No complaints. Worth every penny.
