I did hours of research before choosing tis stylus and I feel that it is the best replacement value out there. You can spend more on the SAS but I don't believe it will sound any better than this one unless you are a dog. Also the SAS is very difficult to align. This stylus was a breeze to set up and sounds great.

Excellent tracking, no splattering on sibilants, very clean and critical. The Shure Type 4 shows well with this stylus. It is expensive (knocking it down to 4 stars)...would like to see a domestic product that is comparable.

The needle arrived on time and appears to be a real thing. Fits perfectly and I have played some fifty year old records and they sound very clean. Tracking at 1.1 grams, allowing for Shure Brush offset of .5 grams. Happy with the results so far and would buy again.

The item arrived quickly and was as described, I was very happy with the purchase. However I was most unhappy with the level of charges levied by the Royal Mail. Their charges were almost the same as the Import Duty, so if you are buying from the UK, be aware it is not just HM Customs you have to pay, it is the Post Office for their 'handling charge'.

Not bad, for the price. The SAS is just too pricey for me. I can definitely hear a difference between this and my original Shure HE stylus. This one reminds me of my M97x, which the V15iv runs rings around. Sounds clean, solid, a bit of a mid boost. I'm missing the clean highs, clarity and "presence" the original brought out of the V15iv though. I DO recommend as a way to extend the life of a V15iv, without resorting to replacing it with an M97x.

If you are looking to resurrect your V15-IV and bring back the nuances in your vinyl collection that you have forgotten coming from this cartridge, this stylus offers a great value. Properly aligned on my Technics SL1200 arm I am finding the dynamics of music extracted from the grooves across the frequency spectrum with clarity rivaling the original stylus.

This stylus fit my cartridge perfectly. This is the first stylus I've used in this cartridge, so I can't compare it to the previous one. But it works and sounds great!

it came as a pleasant surprise the quality of this needle as it is not an original. the tracking is great the highs are clear and bright good bass and all around smooth sound. and the customer service was a-list at the least. came directly on time. 10/10 would buy again.(: thank you very much.

The stylus has brought back my cartridge. It has been a decade since I heard it with a good new stylus, so I don't know if it is the exact same sound, but it is wonderful, sounds "right"

I ordered this to resurrect a Yamaha-P550. I wanted to get a goon needle but not break the bank. It was trivial to install and is providing great sound. I also got a needle cleaning kit to keep the crap off of it.
