I purchased the 77x3-DHE as a replacement for the stock Shure stylus on the M97xE. It upgraded the performance of the cartridge significantly and essentially eliminated inner groove distortion. I installed this stylus in an acquired Shure VST-III P cartridge. I'm pleased with the overall sound and it's ability to extract detail from a record. It makes me happy I bought the cartridge it resides in, and it shows me why the cartridge deserves it's reputation.

I'm using this stylus on a Paradox bodied Shure SC35C with great results. The SC35C has the same shank size & similar electrical characteristics as the V15VxMR. This stylus gives a full bodied sound with generous detail in my set up. IGD is very low, and sibilants are handled nicely. This is a very nice stylus for the price.

This is the real deal. Brought new life to my old beloved V15 RS (V15 type V), one of the best, most underrated cartridges of all time. Sounds great at much less than directly from JICO. Using on a Linn BasiK Plus. What a match!

The m97xe is already a very good cartridge, I've used 2 genuine stylus before But with this stylus its a marvell The stage is larger and deeper and all the frequencies are perfect There is a lot of precision Its seems to need no breakin Its sad to listen a CD after that,even with a topend player My next purchase will be the shibata or a SAS,if the price is lower!!

I have a Shure M95ED, M91E, a Grado Black, Grado Blue and an Audio-Technica AT95E. All have basic elliptical styli. I decided to dig out my old Shure V15 RS (Radio Shack version of a V15 VxMR. I hadn't been able to find a replascement stylus until I read where it is the same inside as the V15 VxMR. I purchased the 77x-DHE stylus and crossed my fingers. All my other cartridges with plain elliptical styli had some measure of sibilance that was annoying. My Shure V15 RS now sounds fantastic! Not a hint of sibilance! Best money I have spent in a long time!

New styli sounds exactly like the original. This is my third purchase from this company and overall I'm very pleased with my dealings with them. Will continue to do business with them. Many thanks.

Purchased as replacement for Shure m97Xe stylus. Perfect fit. Brush works very well and is damped. Slight improvement over original m97Xe stylus. Treble more extended and smoother. Dimensions and weight slightly different than original stylus assembly, meaning it is necessary to reset tracking force and alignment.

The needle was purchased for my husband by myself and daughters. It’s fairly expensive but worth the cost because of the quality- according to my husband. He has listened to vinyl records for many, many years and has had many different turntables and needles. This 1 he feels, is the best of the best. The needle plays even older vinyls that have been scratched with an ability to make the sound wonderful. I’m sure there will be additional purchases in the future.

Incredibely increased the performance of my old M104E cartridge!!!!! ..and for only few dollars... I absolutly recommend this stylus! Moreover, the small brush is very efficient.
