I received the Nagaoka MP-110 from Turntable and Needles expeditiously and in pristine condition. The cartridge was easy to install in my Shure SME arm and I was "off and running". It gave me a whole new perspective on my vinyl collection. Buy it.

Sounds good to me..
Got it to extract music from old records on my old Denon Dp-45F. I can compare it only to my other cartridge, a Denon high-output MC DL-110. They seem to sound about the same; I guess that's how well I hear.

Nice, warm cartridge
This is a very good lower-tier audiophile cartridge. The lows are rich and warm and the highs are natural. There is something a bit lacking in the mid-range - vocals are not as forward as I prefer them and kick drums lack some punch in the high mids. The overall reproduction is perceived as warmer than the average cartridge. It tracks extremely well and seems to reduce static pops and clicks but the soundstage is not as wide as I had hoped for.

Accurate-Engaging-Yet Still Retains Personality....Amazing!
I have had a Shure M91ed, Shure V15IV, V15V, many others. Currently a Denon Dl-160 with 1981 Klipshorns. The mp-110 is my favorite. Gorgeous natural bass, silky mid range, accurate highs and excellent attack transients all driven by the program material(without being annoying neutral!). Bottom line: I wanted to listen to my entire record collection all over again with no bass or treble added. Music is what feelings sound like and this cartridge captures every bit of that emotion.

Great value
Ordered to replace stock Ortofon on my Rega RP1. Improvement was tremendous. Biggest difference was clarity of highs, tightness of bass, and overall warmth. Compared to more expensive carts, the MP-110 doesn’t have a flat sound, but it has character. Lows and mids are a bit more present than highs in the mix. I’d recommend the MP-110 to anyone looking to upgrade a Rega. I didn’t install spacers; this is taller than the stock cart, so be advised.

MP-110 is Really Good!!!
This find has come from the HiViNyws YouTube channel and this is exactly what I was looking for. Ian calls it the CRAZY Cartridge and he is so right. For being just over $100.00, I am very surprised of what it can reproduce. I plan to purchase a backup stylus and stay with the same installed model. Instead of me saying more, please search the YouTube channel and look for MP-110. His cartridge shootout is very musical and not technical, which makes it very interesting. This outruns my Ortofon OMs. Thank You Nagaoka!!!

Fantastic cart, fantastic value
I have a Technics SL1400 with a Shure M91ED. I bought the Nagaoka MP110 after reading reviews and listening to various carts that people had posted on the internet. I am totally pleased with this cart! It has warmth, tracks well, nice tonal balance allowing to hear great details in the record. I love it and think it's the best value you will find in a cart under $200.

Mr
I am very pleased with the natural tonality, Rich mid-range and pure highs. I don't think that you can do better for the money if you care about good sound by this cartridge. I realize that sound is subjective but it would be impossible to imagine someone not liking the sound that this cartridge produces it is phenomenal for the money.

Although my system is far from high end, this cartridge made a noticeable improvement in sound, and I'm enjoying listening to my vinyl much more.

Nice sound
I installed the MP-110 on my Denon DP-51F a couple weeks ago. I have only played it for about 12 hours, so it is probably not fully broken-in, but the sound is best described as smooth. I have had no tracking issues playing vinyl I bought new 40 years ago. I'm pleased with my purchase and the great customer service from TurntableNeedles.com.

LOVE this cartridge!
Was looking for an upgrade for my Rega Planar 1, and am thrilled with the Nagaoka MP 110! Sounded great from the get go, but even better after breaking in! Enjoyed this video that helped me decide, but didn't have to change the anti-skating or make any other major adjustments: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb8STonWhg4

Nagaoka MP-110 Performance
I recently put together a new audio system: Technics 1200GR Turntable, Lounge Audio LCR Silver Phono Preamp, Schiit Freya+ Preamp, Schiit Aegir Amp, Schiit Yggdrasil DAC, Rotel CD11 Tribute CD Player, Warfedale Diamond 12.1 speakers (while awaiting Tekton Lore Tower speakers). As a first cartridge I chose the Nagaoka MP-110 based on the recommendations of several audiophile friends and a high end audio designer friend. While I am not directly comparing it to any other cartridge, I can say that overall it is providing me with very satisfying performance. With it my collection of well mastered and pressed LPs clearly provide greater sound dynamics through the Nagaoka MP-110 than do the same albums on CD. Sound comes through very clear, defined, and detailed. In addition, the Nagaoka MP-110 seems to minimize any pops that may be in the LPs as few if any are heard. I was told that this cartridge is very much a sleeper and performs well above its price point and I very much agree after using it almost daily these past few weeks. It also tracks quite nicely and has provided no issues at all once installed. My order with TurntableNeedles was also extremely smooth and fast, with my product in hand very quickly after purchase. They also kept me well informed through the process so very much liked their service and attention to detail.

Nagaoka MP-110 is a Winner
Arrived quickly... good job Turntable Needles! Compared Nagaoka MP-110 to an Audio-Technica AT-VM95C it replaced. Running at 1.8g tracking force. MP-110 has noticeably more presentation (like a blanket has been removed), separation of instruments, dynamic range, and tighter bass. Tonal balance between the two cart similar. AT-VM95C only advantage is better for records that are in bad shape as it seems to mask noise and clicks better. Tried two headshells and found the MP-110 sounds better with the heavier of the two (Technics SH98). Very pleased and would definitely buy again. Also... after my shopping and purchasing experience with Turntable Needles, I will definitely be a return customer!

Exactly What I Was Hoping For
Brighter with more range than the cartridge it replaced. It also has more output so I don’t have to crank the receiver up as much.

Nagaoka MP-110
The cartridge arrived on time, and well packaged, once it was installed, what was immediately apparent was that it is quiet and allows instruments breathe, which makes for a very involved listening session.
