This is a set of 4 wires. They are designed to be threaded thru the hollow center of the tonearm from the connector on the front back to the inside of the turntable. As pictured, the set comes with 4 connectors and five pieces shrink tubing. One end would be attached with the four universal sockets to fit almost all cartridges. The other end is bare for inside your player and will have to be soldered in place by you or someone of your choosing.
*NEW for 2026: 3 wire version is for rewiring your existing 3 wire stereo player that uses a single wire for both the left and right channels meaning they share a common ground. Our ground wire has a dual socketed connector for stereo cartridge pins that are spaced about 0.150" / 3.9mm apart which is common but not all cartridges back in the 60s shared this spacing. You might have to spread the sockets open a tiny bit as well based on your cartridge pin gauge but in all cases DO NOT solder anything directly to any cartridge as the heat will destroy the internals of the cartridge.
