Make sure to look at the photos above! this item is often confused with the below ground wire. Technics had TWO popular types of wires needed for various models (+ minor types) So, you MUST match our pictures of the connections on the back of the turntable to your model. The two different wires are NOT interchangeable.
This custom made ground wire is for many Technics and a few other brands of turntables that are sold under the Panasonic, Matsushita, MCS (Modular Component System by JCPENNY names. The ground wire has a 'spade' lug at one end that can slip under a metal ground/chassis screw on your amp/receiver or computer and the other end has a special round plug that goes into the "GND" receptacle on the back of your turntable (see pictures above). For the best connection, both ends are professionally soldered, never crimped.
Features:
The wire is about 3 feet long (unless you choose a longer option)
This version is designed for a turntable ground connection that has NO metal pin in the center of the receptacle.
BLISS brand aftermarket replacement. Better than Technics original.
At least 18 AWG flexible multi-strand copper wire.
NOT for Technics SL1200 series.
Turntable ground connector is soldered to wire.
"Improved" because the OEM Technics SFEL028-01E has thinner wire & a bare lead at the amp/receiver end whereas we provide a crimped forked spade lug that will maximize contact with a receiver chassis ground thumbscrew when compared to a bare or tinned wire.
Assembled in USA
