Measures 1.9 mm thick, if your old platter mat, rubber or not, is missing or damaged this is a great looking replacement. True suede leather on your platter tends to deaden harmonics and feedback through your system depending on your spatial conditions. Your mileage may vary, meaning the properties of your room also affect how your mat can effects the music.

Leather Turntable Mat

I am very happy with my Leather Turntable Mat. With other mats I have had problems with static buildup in my records attracting dust, cat hair and anything else that happened to be drifting by. This leather mat has eliminated this problem.
