If you know of JICO's legendary stylus quality, spoken of throughout audiophile forums, then you will enjoy the Excellent build quality required to provide you with years of service from this record cleaner.

Due to import difficulties we do not import the JICO branded cleaning fluid. We confidentially recommended the, Made in USA, Pfanstat fluid for all LP (not 78rpm) records. Pfanstat is found in the related products section below.

Review of JICO JR-100 Record Cleaner
I am thrilled with the record cleaner. I am amazed at how much dirt and grime I have removed from my lp's. I am also happy at how easily the cleaner itself is cleaned.

Mr
I think it's a good tool for cleaning disk surfaces. The quality of cleaning side is very good.

Great for Dry Brushing
I bought this for dry brushing of 78rpm records before and after play. It's about 3.5 inches long, perfect for 10 inch records.

Perfect for light cleaning.
I bought this item under a different brand name years ago, and when it eventually wore out I couldn't find a suitable replacement. It is perfect for removing dust specks which vinyl inevitably attracts. I have a Nitty Gritty machine but it's overkill for light dust. I was delighted to find this at Turntable Needles. Also very happy with the prompt service.

Record Cleaner
All in all, I give it a 3 star rating. It's not that good, but better than nothing. I've looking for the old RCA cleaning pad, but it's not made the same any more. I think I'm just going to use cotton pads and alcohol. That's been working quite well.

Not Sure...
I bought this to replace my 1980-ish Diskwasher brush, since it hasn't been used in 25 years. I'm not sure if I like it. The brush really doesn't pick up anything - nothing sticks to it, in my opinion. I found my old Diskwasher brush, and it was in fine condition - it picks up the fuzz great. I do use a spray on liquid with this setup. Maybe I should try this new brush dry. We'll see. It's just not like the original. I thought it was a bit too narrow as well.

JICO record cleaner
This little record cleaner works just great. Removes much more dust, visibly, than the current version of the Discwasher. Really, a nice record cleaner for the price!
