"We're gonna fake it!" Why pay $125 - $175 for the audiophile class name version of this when you can get the same results with another great product that has been tested and approved by our on staff senior electronics technician at a fraction of the cost. Our tech even researched and installed for you a special free Teflon washer for smoother operation!
FEATURES:
> May help turntable sound quality by lowering vibrations
> Works by gripping spindle, rather than by weight
> lightweight plastic & aluminum for less stress on turntable components than weighted stabilizers
> low-profile design for widest compatibility
> May be compatible with certain vertical turntables
> Teflon washer added by our technician (not pictured) for smooth operation
OPERATION:
> Initially practice removing / replacing the unit several times without a record in place as it is possible to over twist and separate the components loose. Do not over-loosen.
> When ready, put record in place. Set stabilizer on record spindle
> Hold black base while moderately pushing down so as to secure the record in place. With other hand, turn aluminum knob clockwise until tight
> Slowly reverse to release while lifting clamp off spindle.
> Do not twist the lock mechanism tight without unit being on the spindle. If you do, you will need to slightly separate the lock spines in order for the unit to fit back on your spindle.
