This is a Genuine AKG Acoustics X6R 0.7mil bonded spherical diamond tip needle assembly for the AKG P6R cartridge. It is a functional replacement also for the P6E

AKG Needle

Although not the exact replacement needle for my cartridge it fit and worked perfectly. My turntable and cartridge were discontinued years ago but the guys in customer service suggested that this would be a good fit. I like this business - these folks are helpful and smart. I would recommend them to anyone needing anything they sell.
