Stroboscope Carbon Fiber Felt Turntable Mat

This standard felt turntable mat is a great anti-static base for your records. The anti static properties prevent excessive attraction of dust.

At 0.055 inches / 1.4mm thick, if your old platter mat, rubber or not is missing or damaged this is a good replacement that is thin enough to not disrupt the tonearm height alignment. This reversible felt mat also includes a 50hz stroboscope (for international use) installed on 1 side and a separate 60hz self-stick stroboscope (primarily for N. American and parts of S. American use) that you can use by itself or install on the plain side.

When you play your records static electricity is often created. This charge causes crackling and static noise. At the same time the record attracts dust. You can solve this problem by using this anti-static mat designed to discharge the record during playing. The mat consists of felt mixed with very fine carbon fibers which can remove static electricity by corona discharging especially if your turntable is correctly grounded.
