CG-6900 Straight Side Screw Tonearm Plug-n-Spin Kit

The CG-6900 cartridge/headshell 'plug n spin' kit from Yamaha is all factory original.

You can create your own "CG6900" by ordering the Yamaha PB062370 headshell + the AT95E cartridge. This will also net you an elliptical upgrade over the originally supplied conical tip.

It comes with a slip on stylus protector and the entire assembly just slides right into the socket on the front of your straight tonearm. Please Note that you do not necessarily need to have a Yamaha turntable! This will work on several "Japanese" straight tonearm turntables *BUT* it must be a straight arm with the thumbscrew on the SIDE of the tonearm as shown in the secondary pictures above. (Most standard straight arms have the thumbscrew on the top)

This comes with a genuine Yamaha 0.7 mil conical polished diamond stylus. A 2nd stylus can be an upgrade or downgrade by choosing a "710" type needle below. The CG-6900 cartridge is made by Audio Technica on behalf of Yamaha and is generally equal to the Audio Technica AT3400 and AT-95e cartridges.
