D6800EL Type Needle for Stanton 680 series

Pictured above (for reference only) was for the Stanton L680EL P-Mount DJ cartridge.

The L680EL cartridge is a P-Mount version of the Stanton 680EL. Not for DJ use. For hi-fi listening only.

• NOTE: Because this needle is designed for use specifically with STANTON cartridges, it can be found in numerous brands of turntables. In some cases the cartridges for this needle may be original equipment supplied with a new turntable, but was also likely to have been selected at time of sale to complete a turntable sold without a cartridge or later as an upgrade to the original cartridge supplied by the turntable manufacturer. This needle should be matched primarily to the STANTON cartridge type not necessarily the turntable.

Replacement Cartridge

The Stanton 680 cartridge was the perfect replacement for my old, worn out cartridge. It arrived quickly and in good shape. Swapping out the needle was no problem and the sound is excellent.

Works great

Purchased this for my Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable. Easily installed and is sounds awesome. Would definitely recommend.

D6800EL Stylus

Fits perfectly to my Stanton Cartridge, replacing the old one was very handy and easy. The sound is excellent and a true upgrate compared to cheaper products or DJ needles. Passt perfekt auf meinen Stanton Tonabnehmer, Austausch war leicht und unkompliziert. Der Klang ist hervorragend und eine echte Verbesserung im Vergleich zu billigeren Produkten und DJ Nadeln.

Oh well...

I received the needle well packed and without damage. When I put it on the cartridge, it would not fit as tightly and seems to be a bit off measure. Although it plays as it should, I don't trust this one and don't want to use it on precious LPs. I use it on the already damaged ones. Giving it only 3 stars does not mean it's bad, I guess for the price you pay this is as good as it gets. Of course I don't want to compare it to my new Ortofon 2M Blue...
