Turntable Shock Absorbing Feet

.: Set of Four :.

Purchase two sets of four for double protection with rubber fingers facing up on the table and down on the player.

At about .410 inches thick including the white adhesive tape, and about 2.1 inches in diameter wide this set of four rubber pads are designed to provide acoustic/mechanical dampening or can replace your old ones if you are missing one or more.

This will allow higher bass volumes and a greater resistance to vibrations in the environment, potentially allowing lower tracking force settings which would increase needle and record life. This is because the pads absorb energy that could cause skipping. They can be added below your existing turntable feet or if you are missing an old foot just remove the other three and stick these in their place. They have a self stick foam backing.

You can enhance this by adding 4 more to your turntable, for a total of 8. Place four on the surface where your turntable is located. Then use the other 4 on the bottom of your turntable in place of your existing factory supplied feet. Use the pads in such a way so that the "fingers" touch each other.  The various finger sizes create a non-uniform contact area which breaks up vibrational feedback avenues.

Rumble Pads
I have a 1977 Yamaha YP-211 TT sitting on a glass shelf in a rack/shelf set-up. With my subwoofer (for 2-channel music only), I sometimes get a small amount of feedback at higher volumes because of using the sub. The Rumble Pads eliminated the vibration/feedback coming from the sub. An excellent addition to my old-faithful turntable! Especially noticeable with some of the half-speed mastered vinyl I have and elevated volume levels.

Needle shake
I have been looking for low cost acoustic / floor shake dampening pads for my turntable. I have experimented with foam rubber and other materials with very minimal success. These Rumable Pads have made a significant reduction in my floor shake problem whether caused by walking or playing heavy bass music. I have them mounted onto a large heavy wooden cutting board to form an acoustic shake platform. I am very happy with my low cost solution.

Decent pads - They do help!
I added these below some home-made Vibrathane pads on my trusty Thorens. They really took the last bit of annoying record skip and vibration out of the mix. Well worth the $.

Excellent dampeners/decouplers.
Perfect as a damper between my near-field monitors (Cakewalk MA 150s) and my desk, strong, yet resilient. Would purchase again. Highly recommended.

Does the job!
Bought these because the needle skipped whenever I walked too close to the turntable. Does the trick and looks like part of the turntable.

Turntable feet
They worked very well. I had 2 missing feet on one of my old turntables. Took the 2 remaining feet off and put on 4 of the shock absorbing feet. Problem solved.

Rumble Pads
Seem to work as described. I'm pretty careful around my turntable anyway, but I feel these add another layer of protection from unwanted vibration/heavy walkers/and other outside interference. They are large enough diameter they easily support the rubber feet built into my turntable base.
