ordered 2 of these for some technics linear tracking turntables sl-10 and sl-q6. They fit somewhat loosely but do work and will remain seated as long as turntables are stationary.

The Ground Wire arrived in a timely manner and was the perfect fit. I can't understand why Technics would create such a specialized Ground Wire, except to increase sales of the part because it's almost impossible to make a reliable connection to the ground pin in this turntable unless you have THIS CABL; they could've just designed a ground-post you attached a wire to. Anyway, this wire works great.

My first comment is make sure you look at the ends of your ground wire. I did not and found what I thought was the right model number for my turntable and ordered the ground wire. Little did I know that there were more 10 versions of the same model number SL-QD35. My need for a new ground wire was driven by needing a longer ground wire then came with the very old turntable. My receiver and amps are located in a rack so the distance from turntable to receiver was way to far away. So this 9ft long ground wire is about perfect and there is no degradation of sound quality just because the ground wire is longer. Perfect fix once I figured out the right model number. Also the return process for turntableneedles.com was seamless so I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Once again, Turntable Needles has the obscure specialty item needed to save the day. Quality ground wire, solid connection at both ends. Perfectly compatible with my old Technics turntable. It allowed me to keep work space around my turntable while placing the amp/receiver in a safe location.

At first I was about to have a mini fit because the cord couldn't reach from my turntable to my head unit. But then I realized it needed to go to the preamp instead! It worked fine. Records are now clear with no buzzing sound. The pin holds nice and tight to the jack on the turntable. Very nice to have this.

Got rid of the hiss due to a lack of ground wire. Works well.

It is exactly as described, and is, in fact, better than the original. It perfectly fits my Technics SL-DD22.

This wire works even better with my system than I hoped it would. Being a novice when it comes to stereo electronics, I need total ease of use and this grounding wire fits that bill in spades. This item is exactly what I needed and works perfectly. It is also as described with an improved “spade” lug at one end making it very easy to connect to the back of the AV receiver.

Cut the feedback noise, fixing a quirk of the Technics turntable--the hidden location & special part for a ground wire.

I got a used turntable with the original ground wire scraggly, tarnished, and shedding bits of copper. This one, with heavier gauge wire and a soldered spade connector makes for a much more secure connection. Shipping was quick and sensible with a small padded envelope. Some other places will put tiny things like this in a huge box.

I dug out my old turntable but it always had a bad buzz. Looked around online for a solution and everyone said it was the groudwire. This product worked perfectly and now the turntable sounds great. It was the missing piece.

Perfect fit for my old technics turntable. It was surprisingly hard to find a socket that would mate with the ground wire connection, and this was exactly right. Great connection and eliminated all pickup hum from the cartridge.

I was initially concerned that the terminal was not identical to the original wire and did not feel secure in its connection. I was told that the company had made an effort to find a supplier who could give them a similar connector, but they were unsuccessful. However, I have not had any issues with the wire falling out once the turntable was in place. For a typical installation, where you rarely move the turntable, this wire should present no problems.
