The vinyl record cleaning work mat is such a handy item. I do not have a power record cleaner and rely upon some good cleaning solution, an old turntable, and goat hair cleaning brushes to handle the process. Upon removing a dampened record for the final drying process, I place it on the cleaning mat and remove any lingering moisture with a micro fiber towel. The mat holds the record firmly with a small amount of hand or finger pressure and I know the record will not suffer from abrasion or unnecessary friction to damage the grooves.

Simply put this is the product you don't know you need. It provides a well damped surface for vinyl maintenance and cleaning. Sometimes I don't need to fire up the RCM and this is a great work surface.

Simple, easy to assemble, and does the job.

I wasn't totally sure what to expect, but this mat is amazing. It fits in a really small area until you put the interlocking pieces together. If you're using it for CDs or DVDs you don't even have to put the whole thing together; just use the section that has the post that fits the center hole. It's stiff enough to keep records from bending under the pressure needed to clean them, but soft enough to keep from scratching them. Just a great product.

Great product. Especially good for an "initial cleaning" of a newly acquired used record, where you're just trying to get the big pops off the record.

Nice pad to give a good clean to a record— I use a microfiber paint pad and disc washer with homemade fluid to get into the grooves and dry with a lint free cloth

Very good item! Not fancy, light weight, does the job ??

I like this even more than I thought I would. It is a prefect platform to hold LPs while cleaning. The pad resists fluids and does not get wet. You don't know how much you need it until you need it.
