The BN-MMC1 is a stellar-performing replacement for any B & O MMC1 MMC2 MMC3 and MMC5 (MMC1 was top of the line, MMC5 was bottom of the line.) The needle on your existing cartridge is not user replaceable and would require that you mail it in to a retipping vendor at about 2/3 the cost of a new cartridge and wait weeks.
